FAQS

What does mixed-media mean and what media do you use in your work?
The term mixed media simply means that a piece of art uses more than one type of material.  Instead of using just paint, a piece might be composed of paint, collaged paper, and colored pencil.  I use many mediums in my work – most often acrylic and latex paint, collage with paper, markers, pen and ink, and lots of acrylic medium to hold it all together.  All these components create work that contrasts the hard edges of print technologies with the feeling and gesture of the human hand.  My originals are either on wood panels, canvas, or archival watercolor paper.

SHIPPING

How do you ship prints?
All prints and paintings are shipped in materials provided or approved by the U.S. Postal Service or Fedex, specifically for the size and type of artwork being shipped.  Large paintings and paper pieces are rolled and shipped in extra strong cardboard tubes. Prints are shipped in padded envelopes with cardboard reinforcement.

How much is shipping and how long does it take?
Shipping for prints in the United States is free.  Prints should reach you approximately 2 weeks after you place your order.  They often arrive sooner.  Shipping of larger works within or outside of the U.S. is determined by location and size and weight of work purchased.
